Shar White (Sharon White), a British singer born and raised in the UK, also maintains a residency in the US. With a career spanning over 37 years, Shar is an acclaimed singer and songwriter credited on over 100 famous recordings. She has shared the stage with icons like Eric Clapton, Bryan Ferry, Carol King, Annie Lennox, and many more.

In 1989, at the age of nineteen, Shar signed to Jive Records as a solo artist under her then stage name "SHASHA," releasing underground hits like "Lies," "Do Ri Me," and "Bad Attitude." Working in Chicago with renowned producers "Hula" and "K.Fingers," known for their hit with DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince's "Summertime," Shar released her album "Blessed with Love," which became an underground success.

Since then, Shar's powerful vocals have graced numerous artists both on stage and in studio recordings. She has been a part of Eric Clapton's band since 2004. 2010, she had the honor of joining Annie Lennox to sing at "Christmas in Washington" for President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama.

In 2015, Shar performed for HRH Queen Elizabeth II at The Royal Albert Hall in London with Joss Stone and sang at a private event held by Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, at Buckingham Palace as a part of the Eric Clapton Band. She has also traveled with the Annie Lennox Band to perform at Nelson Mandela's 46664 concert in South Africa and performed at the famous Wembley Stadium for the late Princess Diana's memorial concert.

Shar White has been a background vocalist since 1999, touring and recording with amazing artists such as Eric Clapton, Stevie Winwood, Annie Lennox, Joss Stone, Eurythmics, Bryan Ferry, Roxy music, Natasha Bedingfield & Shola Ama.  Carol King (Live recording), Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Pete Townsend (The Who), Ringo Starr (Beatles), Robert Cray, Taylor Hicks, Mica Paris, Joss Stone, Ronnie Wood ( Rolling Stones), Westlife, Emma Bunton (Spice girls),  Primal Scream, Zucchero, Lulu, Michael Mcdonald, Ms Dynamite, Sam Moore, Billy Preston, James Morrison, Gary Brooker, Jimmi Vaughn, Andy Fairweather low, Herbie Hanncock, Robert Randolf, John Mayer, Tunde (Lighthouse Family) Derek Trucks, Jimmy Vaughn, Citizen Cope, Robbie Robertson, Chrissi Poland (Scissor Sisters), Jeff Beck, Paul McCartney and more 

She has also appeared on numerous shows including GMTV, Good Morning America, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Dancing with the Stars, and more. In 2016, she was honored to be a part of the Carole King Band for the live performance of the legendary album "Tapestry" in London's Hyde Park.

marking her 20th year as a part of the EC Band, Shar will be joining Eric Clapton on his 2024 UK, South America, and American tour. Shar continues to tour the world She is gearing up to release her solo project in 2025, marking Shar’s era—a symphony of resilience and empowerment, showcasing that despite life's hurdles, her journey is far from its final note.
